Getting here — Inveraray is just over an hour from Glasgow by car or frequent buses. There's private parking at the house. If travelling by train to Arrochar & Tarbet, we have links with local taxi services.
Minimum stay — Two nights, three over peak weekends. -
Breakfast — Fresh, warm pastries with barista-style coffee to start the day. Brought to the drawing room for breakfast with a view.
Family note — TOR welcomes families as well as couples. Fyne, our most spacious room, takes an extra child bed on request — the easiest room for families and longer stays.
Furry friends — While we love dogs, we cannot accommodate them at TOR.

Around Loch Fyne — Whether you’re into castles or single origin coffee, both are a short walk into town. The Loch Fyne Oyster Bar at Cairndow, Crarae Garden, the giant trees at Ardkinglas and the hills of Cowal are all close. We leave every room our own list of where to eat, walk and swim.
Further afield —
Oban — the gateway to the Hebrides, with ferries to Mull, Iona and beyond. About 1 hour.
Kilmartin Glen & Dunadd— the cradle of Dál Riata and one of Scotland's richest prehistoric landscapes. About 50 minutes.
Machrihanish — wide Atlantic beaches and Kintyre's surf. A proper day out, around 2¼ hours.
